Dallas Morning News raises price of single copy to $1
Hopefully, that will turn their precarious situation around and get them back on the road to profitability and success.
Beginning on February 9, The Dallas Morning News is raising the price of a single-copy Monday-through-Saturday to $1. It's been 75 cents since May 2008, when they raised the price from 50 cents. They raised the price because of the cost of newsprint and "other economic factors".

Damn! If they'd have done this LAST week, we could have stocked up on xmas wrapping paper. Birdcages will just have to be smaller this year.

I don't see why they think raising the paper's price is going to help if they don't raise the quality....
