Arlington Animal Services Center to open Jan. 14 in their new location
The City of Arlington's new animal services center will open to the public (and to the public's animals) on Wednesday, Jan. 14. It's located at 1000 E. Green Oaks Blvd., adjacent to the Southeast Branch Library and the new dog park. (How conveeeenient!)
The existing animal services facility - on Pioneer Parkway - will be closed both Monday, Jan. 12 and Tuesday, Jan. 13, while the resident doggies and kitties (and etc.) are moved to their brand-spankin' new home.
The laconic Chrishandra Huff, Animal Services Manager, had this to say: "We are excited about our new facility and all of the hard work ahead of us."
Hm. Excited about the hard work ahead, eh? That sounds vaguely familiar.
