“Sarah Connor” to appear at Texas Frightmare Weekend this May

... as part of the Laid to Rest talent/filmmaker guest contingent.

Lena Headey: Glock gal

From Texas Frightmare headman Loyd Cryer comes word that the baddest-ass mom on network television will be showing up at the 2009 event. (Coincidentally, She's also the smokin'-hottest mom on network television. Just FYI.)

I'm talking about the lovely Lena Headey, who plays Sarah Conner in Fox TV's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Lena will be on hand to promote her new horror film, Laid to Rest, along with that film's co-stars Thomas Dekker (who - coincidentally - plays her son in the TV series), Bobbi Sue Luther and director/writer Robert Hall. The quartet will only be on hand for the Saturday, May 2 portion of the weekend.

As previously noted, Alice Cooper has already been confirmed for Frightmare, along with a growing list of others with horror film connections (such as Karen Black, William Forsythe, Caroline Williams and Tobe Hooper).

Ms. Headey - who in real life is not a mom, but is (*sniff!*) married - has been quoted expressing her dismay at the ready availability of guns in the U.S. But she sure looks good with a Glock.
