Gensler Dallas promotes David Botello to Principal and Cherrie Wysong to Senior Associate
DALLAS The Dallas office of Gensler announced today that it has promoted David Botello to Principal and Cherrie Wysong to Senior Associate. The promotions are made on an annual basis in recognition of outstanding client service, innovation, contribution to the Gensler organization, and community participation.
“These appointments recognize not only the accomplishments of those being promoted, but also their contribution to the success and significant growth of the Dallas office,” said Judy Pesek, Principal and Managing Director of the Dallas office. “We are committed to the continuous growth and development of our leadership team, and these appointments are symbolic of that commitment.”
David Botello has more than 31 years of architectural experience with an impressive portfolio of commercial, mixed-use, and hospitality projects. He is a Studio Leader in the Dallas office and a member of the national and local chapters of the AIA and the Texas Society of Architects.
Botello’s extensive background in both architecture and interior design has provided him with the skills to successfully deliver large scale projects on time and within budget. His Dallas projects include: Hines’ 30-story office tower, Mary Kay’s corporate headquarters, AT&T’s Corporate Relocation and Learning Center, Watterscreek, the SPCA of Texas, and Denbury Resources.
Cherrie Wysong joined Gensler in 2000 and has more than 13 years of design experience. Her expertise includes space planning, design development, interior design, and project management in the corporate marketplace. Wysong’s portfolio includes projects for the Dallas law offices of Bracewell & Giuliana, Andrews Kurth, and Haynes and Boone, as well as headquarters offices for EDS, Fluor Corporation, and Pier I.
Wysong has excellent design and technical skills and the ability to manage complex projects. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Design degree from Baylor University and is an active member of IIDA.
