Slobbering over a Slobberbone reunion show

The thought of a full-fledged Slobberbone reunion is enough to make me cry…kidding…not really, I’m bawling right now.

I just read on the Dallas Observer’s Music Blog, DC-9 at Night that one of my dreams will be coming true very soon. A SLOBBERBONE REUNION!! I am not sure if this is for the long-haul or not, but I know that I have been kicking myself ever since I missed the surprise “reunion gig” they played under a different name a few months ago.

I’ll never forget seeing these guys tear up the Curtain Club in Dallas sometime in 1997. They played just about every song off of their stellar album, Barrel Chested and made me a believer in local music. Don’t get me wrong, I love The Drams, but the thought of a full-fledged Slobberbone reunion is enough to make me cry…kidding…not really, I’m bawling right now.
