Dallas-based Neiman Marcus to lay off 375 people
Following the recent news that its holiday sales were down by 31%, Dallas-based Neiman Marcus is laying off 375 people.
The lay-offs, which represent 3% of the company's work force, will occur across all divisions of its 40 Neiman Marcus stores and New York-based Bergdorf Goodman, catalog, and Internet divisions. Two stores that were set to open in Sarasota, Fla., and Princeton, N.J. have been delayed by construction.
