Fire destroys building near White Rock Lake

According to Jason L. Evans, Public information officer for the Dallas Fire Dept., a report came in that a garage apartment/studio at 1406 Bella Vista Drive near White Rock Lake caught fire Thursday afternoon. A Google search for that address lists that address as home to Stefan Crane & Associates.
A caretaker for the person who owns the house was cooking lunch for the relative when she went to the front house to retrieve something for cooking. Upon returning to the garage/studio, the entire structure was engulfed in flames. Fortunately no one inside the structure was hurt. The Fire Department had no injuries to report on their behalf other then battling the cold, Evans said. The structure is a total loss, with the family losing stored heirlooms and personal items.
