Heath City Council meets to hear department and committee reports, discuss development

Those committee reports can get pretty intense

When the City Council of Heath meets at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 (at Heath City Hall), councilpersons will hear department and committee reports from:

* the Planning and Zoning Commission

* the Board of Adjustment

* the Comprehensive Plan Advisor Board

* the Economic Development Corporation

* the Park Board

* the Special Events Board

* the Department of Public Safety, including a report on major incidents, arrests and calls for service

* Building Inspection and Public Works, including an accounting of the number of building permits issued per month and their valuation

* Municipal Court, including warrants issued, cases docketed and warrants issued

* City Staff; and

* Budget and Finance

There will also be discussion of the plat of the Gloria Wang Estate subdivision (809 Smirl Dr.) as requested by Gloria Wang, and a public hearing to receive input on a request to replat the Rogers Addition 8644 S. FM 549) so an additional lot can be designated for the existing telecommunications tower.
