The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra will present “Young Virtuoso” on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Meyerson Symphony Center. The concert features five winners of the 2009 GDYO Concerto Competition. Christina Kwon, violin will perform the Sarasate, Ziegeunerweisen. Four horns (Alex Kovling, Laurel Roseborrough, Reese Farnell and Rhema McGee) will perform Schumann’s Konzertstuke. Other works performed included Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italien and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2.
