The renovations include $32.50 for material for Southwest's new uniforms
DALLAS According to this story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears Dallas Love Field will undergo $519 million in renovations. The huge project is scheduled to begin this June.
The capital improvements neatly coincide with the 2014 lifting of federal restrictions on long distance travel, and will increase the capacity of the airport by nearly double. Dallas-based Southwest Airlines stands to benefit the most from the renovations, which include increased gates and an expanded baggage area.
