Dallas architecture firm tops national rankings three times

Good Fulton & Farrell, one of the top ten largest architectural firms in North Texas, starts off 2009 with three national rankings.

Best Architecture Firm to Work For

ZweigWhite, a management and consulting research firm, ranked Good Fulton & Farell as one of the top architecture firms to work for in the nation. The firm ranked as the 13th Best Architecture Firm to Work For and the 6th Best Mid-Size Architecture Firm to Work For. The rankings mark the firm's debut on the Best Architecture Firm to Work For list. According to ZweigWhite, 38 first-time applicants were in the preliminary mix and out of that group, 18 firms made the final cut.

Good Fulton & Farrell was selected based on the firm's commitment to provide a positive work environment and challenging and interesting work opportunities for its employees. Applicants supplied ZweigWhite a 40-page report on benefit/compensation packages, management practices, employee recognition programs and benchmarking methods among a myriad of other criteria. One of the requirements for a complete application includes at least 20% employee participation in a blind survey conducted online by ZweigWhite. Good Fulton & Farrell had 62% employee participation in the survey.

GIANTS 300: Top Architecture Firms

Building Design+Construction magazine ranked Good Fulton & Farrell on its GIANTS 300 list, which recognizes the top architecture, engineering and construction firms in nation. GFF ranked as the 47th top architecture firm in the nation based on 2007 billings.

Top 100 Green Design Firms

Engineering News-Record magazine ranked Good Fulton & Farrell on its inaugural Top 100 Green Design Firms list as the 57th firm on the list. Companies are ranked according to revenue for design services generated in 2007 from projects that have been registered or certified by a third-party organization that sets standards for measuring a facility's environmental impact, energy efficiency or carbon footprint.

Thom Powell, AIA, LEED AP, associate at Good Fulton & Farrell Architects, who leads the firm's sustainable design efforts and is a member of the North Texas U.S. Green Building Council Board of Directors said, "Our inclusion on this list further reinforces the role we [as architects] play in educating our clients on the importance and feasibility of sustainable design."
