Seagoville Elementary School staff donating books for armed forces
On Saturday, January 24, a group of staff members from Seagoville Elementary School will deliver books to the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport for the Armed Forces.
As part of the 2nd Annual United Through Reading Book Drive, Seagoville Elementary School staff has collected 130 books to donate to the USO at DFW Airport.
Thanks to this program, Armed Forces personnel traveling through DFW Airport can select a book and be taped reading to their children; the video is later sent to the family so they can see their loved one while deployed.
The books will be delivered to the Book Room, through Terminal B, at DFW Airport at 9:30 a.m.
