Rumors of North Texas water restrictions are in the air
As anyone who lives on a North Texas lakeshore (make that "reservoir shore") can tell you, water levels are down - a result of the lower than average rainfall seen over the last several months. (Those with yards and gardens to water are typically also sensitive to the situation.)
And if you were beginning to wonder how long it might take for this fair weather trend to have an impact on municipal water distribution, here's an early indication: if area weather doesn't turn wetter soon, this summer may bring watering restrictions to DFW.
Our next decent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service, comes on Monday night (Jan. 26) going into Tuesday.
Break out the cloudbusting gear.
