Fort Worth Omni Theater to preface The Dark Knight screenings with a Batman history lesson
When The Dark Knight (IMAX version) plays Fort Worth's Omni Theater at the Museum of Science and History (1501 Montgomery St.), there'll be more than just the usual movie viewing involved on four special occasions.
Popular film historian/columnist Michael H. Price will be on hand prior to four screenings of the movie (at 6 p.m. on Jan. 29, Feb. 5, Feb. 12 and Feb. 19) to talk about the beginnings of Batman, going all the way back to the 1920s. The 40-minute presentation will include a Q/A session, so you can grill Price about his conclusions and ask him any questions you might have about the Caped Crusader. (Like: where does he get all those wonderful toys?)
