Bush Library names someone to take care of the bushes
We've been waiting eight years to make that lame joke.
And Laura Bush apparently couldn't be happier, according to this piece in the DMN. The landscape architect who will tackle the Bush Presidential Library at SMU has designed such notable projects as Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House and the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Michael Van Valkenburgh, a professor at Harvard University, has not officially released his plans for the landscaping, but whatever he designs will have to be approved by the National Archives.
