The Seafarer starts tonight at Stage West in Fort Worth
The Seafarer, a tale by Irish playwright Conor McPherson about what sounds like the worst Christmas Eve poker game ever, begins tonight at Stage West. In the words of The New York Times, the play is “as close to perfection as any contemporary playwriting gets.”
The Seafarer runs through Feb. 22, with Thursday performances at 7:30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 and Sunday matinees at 3. You can buy tickets online, and if you want, listen to a podcast with director Rene Moreno.
