Casa Mañana to hold auditions for Rockin’ with Mother Goose

Youth and adult auditions will take place on Saturday, February 14 in the Rehearsal Studio at Casa Mañana Theatre.

Youth and adult auditions for Casa Mañana Children’s Playhouse production of Rockin’ with Mother Goose will be held by appointment only on Saturday, February 14 beginning at 10:00 am for adults and 1:00 pm for youth in the Rehearsal Studio at Casa Mañana Theatre. The engagement of Rockin’ with Mother Goose is produced by Casa Mañana at Casa Mañana Theatre, March 31 – April 19, 2009.

Available Youth Roles (ages 11-17):

Female Roles: Blind Mouse / Little Miss Muffet / Teen Dancer / Sheep; Little Bo Peep / Teen Dancer / Cat / Sheep

Male Roles: Little Boy Blue / Teen Dancer / Dude in a Tub / Dog / Sheep; Little Jack Horner / Teen Dancer / Dude in a Tub / Spoon / Sheep

Available Adult Roles:

Female Roles: Librarian / Mother Goose; Little Old Woman / Dude in a Tub / Dish; Jill / Famer

Male Roles: Little Richard / Man in the Moon; Blind Mouse / Old King Cole / Humpty Dumpty / Black Sheep; Blind Mouse / Jack

Please bring a current picture with one-page resume stapled to the back. One song with sheet music in your key, 50s – 70s pop / rock style (anything doo-wop to Motown). You will have no more than two minutes. Pianist will not transpose music. Absolutely no tapes or a capella singing will be permitted.

The performance schedule is Tuesday – Friday mornings at 10:30 am, Friday evenings at 7:00 pm, Saturdays at 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
