Body of slain taxi driver found in rural Denton County

The body of a taxi driver was discovered by firefighters Thursday night (July 2) as they were attempting to extinguish a grass fire on an oil lease about five miles west of the Texas Motor Speedway.
Denton County Sheriff's investigators say the man -- as yet unnamed -- was stabbed in the chest and had his throat slit. He was also burned. Robbery is suspected as the motive.
