Dallas chef François Fotre died on Tuesday
Received this email from a food-and-beverage professional about the passing of chef Francois Fotre, 53, who died on Tuesday, June 30:
Our good friend, Francois Fotre, passed away Tuesday morning with heart complications resulting from a hemorrhaging ulcer. He and his wife Catherine, 15-year-old son Antoine, and 14-year-old daughter Julia, were moving to a home in McKinney last Monday when Francois was hospitalized.
There will be a visitation Sunday July 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. at: Turrentine, Jackson & Morrow, 2525 Central Expressway N, Allen, 972-542-2601.
There will also be a Funeral Mass Monday, July 6 at 10:00 a.m. at: Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7000 Morningstar, The Colony, 972-625-5252.
We ask that if you attend please wear your Chef's best to honor Francois and to reaffirm our friendship and commitment to the great profession that we have chosen.
Services will be followed by a reception at the church.
Please keep Catherine, Antoine, and Julia in your prayers.
