Nobody likes drunken boaters. (Unless they are one. And even then, there's probably an element of deep-seated self-loathing all mixed up in there.) They're both a danger and a menace. We like to refer to them as a "denace."
Anyway, this holiday weekend Texas game wardens are stepping up their patrols of area lakes looking for that dangerous breed of civilian who would put others' lives at risk in the pursuit of his or her own brain cell demolition. And they're implementing a "no refusal" policy in regard to Breathalyzer testing, whereby one can either submit to the breath test or consider oneself under arrest.

Maybe it's the heat, but Lake Ray Hubbard seems less crowded than I'd expect this weekend.

During the summer I stay as close to my AC as possible, no way a lake could be cooler :)
