Audience members still mad at fake Bruno talk show in Carrollton
A year after the fact, some people are still upset that they were duped by Sacha Baron Cohen into attending a fake talk show that ended up being a bit for Cohen's new movie, Bruno. Audience members were brought to a Carrollton office park on the promise of participating in a new talk show on "family values," but ended up being subjected to Cohen's antics with black baby with a "Gayby" t-shirt on. One audience member even filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services over supposed ill treatment of the baby.
Check out the trailer below with a glimpse of said fake talk show:

People in this part of the country are too uptight, with their dislike of anything that isnt republican, their undying loyalty to their mega churches and anything related to Jebus. No wonder Sasha Cohen came here for both Borat and Bruno, as this place is a satire jackpot with all the rampant hypocrisy that flows through on a daily basis. I'll be seeing this accordingly...;)

Bwahahaha!
These folks are mad cuz they got played.
The unwitting "cast members" from "Borat" [the racist frat boys et al] tried to sue Cohen & the film's producers/distributor 2 yrs ago and were laughed out of court.
My guess is that these spoil sports will suffer the same fate. They signed a contract and were paid. STFU and go away.

North Texas and Carrollton once again showed that it's all about 'family values'. I just have one question: whose family and which values. These Bush-era code words are still very popular with W's base here in the Dallas area. But I think Sasha Baron Cohen got it right when these people were horrified. I hope the baby they thought was 'abused' was pure hoax and I hope he got these people good. Fanning the flames of hypocrisy is one of my favorite past times.
