UFO spotted near Lake Arlington on the Fourth of July

Wow, judging by this account and the comments that accompany it, the evening of the Fourth of July in North Texas was a hotbed of UFO sightings.

The main account relates to a "huge" fireball seen traveling from east to west, from one horizon to the other, over Lake Arlington around 10 p.m. At least two different witness groups reported seeing it (though one described it as a fireball and the other as a "glowing circle").

In the comments appended to the story, another person claims to have seen "the same thing," although her observation occurred closer to 9 p.m. and she was closer to Fair Park than Lake Arlington. Hmm ...

Maybe a meteor?

Did anyone at Channel 5 bother to check heavens-above.com? 9pm in the summer is prime satellite-spotting time.
