Extremely expensive tickets and parking passes now on sale for first Cotton Bowl in Arlington

The newly opened Cowboys Stadium in Arlington will host the 2010 Cotton Bowl game, edging out the Fair Park location for the first time since ... let's see ... 1937, it says here.

Anticipating the kind of manic sales that only college football fans can generate, event organizers are pre-selling whatever surplus tickets remain (after the fiercely-loyal regular attendees renewed their ticket purchases) at $100 per seat, with those seats being situated primarily on the upper sideline.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL: For a limited time (i.e., until they're all sold), parking passes will be available to go along with the tickets -- at an additional cost of $40.

So, basically, for the cost of a Wii, you can take your spouse, date or pal to the 2010 Cotton Bowl and be allowed to actually park. (Think of the cost of beer and hot dogs as a game for the Wii.)

There are a lot of sucker's born in this City and Country, desire full/fillment, and addiction's....call it safe vice or stupidity....when it is said and done, the promoter is long gone out of town....and who are these people....I know...the advocatcy of good consession and with good taste is my kind of drink.....A/T, ..Pure water over at Pearl and Commerce soon...
