Uptown Village at Cedar Hill is adding two national retailers and a locally-owned restaurant to its already wide selection of stores. Look for the construction is beginning this summer.

James Avery, specializing in hand-crafted jewelry with sterling silver, gold, and gemstones, will occupy a 1,600-square-foot store next to Uptown Popcorn. “This is an exciting time at Uptown Village as we continue to bring sought-after retail and restaurants to the Cedar Hill area,” said Gail Alvarez, marketing director for Uptown Village at Cedar Hill. “We look forward to kicking off the busy holiday shopping season with this next wave of openings as it will enhance Uptown Village’s diverse collection of national retail, specialty shops, and restaurants.”

In spite of the economic downturn, things have been hopping at Uptown.
