Attention Arlington scofflaws: you might want to leave town next week
The city of Arlington will conduct their summer Warrant Roundup next week (July 13 - 18), targeting violators with outstanding (as opposed to run-of-the-mill?) Class C misdemeanor warrants.
If your name appears on this list of 82,000 municipal warrants, you might want to consider either taking care of your legal obligation (by paying over the phone at 1-888-604-7888, or online) or getting the Hell out of Dodge (or, in this case, Arlington) until the heat blows over.
Which, of course, it never will: Just try renewing your drivers license, and see how that works out for you.
