Grand Prairie Airhogs and Fort Worth Cats face off July 11-13 at Quiktrip Park

'Crosstown, independent baseball rivals, the Grand Prairie Airhogs and the Fort Worth Cats, will face off three days in a row, starting on July 11 at Quiktrip Park.

The Cats finished the first half of the season in first place in the South division with 30 wins and 18 losses. Fort Worth players are top three league leaders in most categories, including pitching (second and third), team pitching, and team batting. The Airhogs finished the first half of the season in third place in the South Division and have the top RBI and SB batters in the league.

The two clubs will play on July 11, 12, and 13 with fireworks on the 11th and 13th. On Sunday, the AirHogs will wear purple jerseys which will be auctioned off after the game to raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
