Man with katana slashes another guy in Haltom City over money dispute
Two men reportedly arguing over unspecified money matters attracted the attention of Haltom City police after one of them took a "samurai-type" sword to the other. (In a kind of half-hearted fashion, judging by the report of the physical injuries.)
Either the 54-year-old alleged assailant, Bay Ho, was wielding a really dull blade, or his target, 36-year-old Simon Tran, was recoiling so fast that the blows didn't have a decent chance of doing any serious injury.
(This being a good thing, of course, whatever the reason.)
