Fort Worth rush hour bus wreck kills one, shuts down Loop 820
A Fort Worth Transportation Authority bus of the smaller chassis variety (tasked with transporting mobility-impaired passengers) apparently slammed into the back of a car which had braked to avoid another collision Friday evening (July 10). Reports vary as to whether the natural gas fuel tanks on board the bus actually contributed to the ensuing blaze, but from the looks of the footage (appended below) there's SOMETHING spurting out of the bus that looks like flammable gas.
One person in a car involved in the multi-vehicle crash was killed; five other injuries were reported, including those sustained by the bus driver, whose hands were burned when he helped his passenger exit the bus.
