Jane Roe, of Roe v. Wade, arrested during Supreme Court confirmation hearing
The Dallas woman called "Jane Roe," from the famous Roe v. Wade court case, was arrested today in Washington, D.C. at Sonia Sotomayor's Senate confirmation hearing.
Legally known as Norma McCorvey, she helped secure laws for a woman's right to an abortion. McCorvey later became a vocal opponent of abortion.
McCorvey was arrested today (July 13) after she and a "wave of anti-abortion protesters" involved with a group called Operation Rescue disrupted the hearing, the Washington Post reports. The disruption happened when Al Franken praised Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.), who was a large supporter of the Roe v. Wade decision, and McCorvey and another began shouting.

Good for her. I have always found it quite frightening that so many so vehemently decry the womans "right to choose" when the choice is ultimately to brutally murder her own child. There is now a congresswoman in Texas trying to get the penalty reduced to two years for killing one's child even after birth up to one year of age. It is astounding to me. Were a dog or cat treated this way there would be absolute outrage as was the case with Michael Vick. It has been said that Hitler cuddled and fed treats to a puppy while watching Jews get marched into the Gas Chambers. The human psyche is capable of anything I guess.

If I were a woman, my 'right to choose' would be to only sexually engage with partners who use condoms. As it is, I am a man who believes that the best horse to bet on is a Trojan.
