Cathedral of Hope Music Ministry to perform “Our Song Shall Rise to Thee” on July 19
The Cathedral of Hope Music Ministry will present an encore performance of “Our Song Shall Rise to Thee” on Sunday, July 19 at 6 p.m. The concert first was performed at the invitation of the United Church of Christ at its General Synod held in Grand Rapids, Michigan last month. The event is free and open to all. The Cathedral of Hope is located at 5910 Cedar Springs; Dallas, TX 75219.
The Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra, and Voices of Hope, the church’s contemporary ensemble, will share the result of countless hours of effort as a gift to our community and as their way of saying thanks to the many, many people who made the trip possible. The hour-long concert will include Cathedral of Hope favorites “Fill This Temple with Your Glory,” “The Majesty and Glory of Your Name” and “In the Sanctuary.”
The Cathedral of Hope, a congregation of the United Church of Christ, is based in Dallas, Texas, and is the world’s largest liberal Christian church with a primary outreach to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
