Gay protestors tossed from Fort Worth City Council meeting
Several members of the gay activist group Queer Liberaction were removed from Tuesday's Fort Worth City Council meeting after they started yelling out in the middle of the meeting. Public comments are welcome at the end of the session, but because the group interrupted other matters, Mayor Mike Moncrief took the step to remove them from the chambers.
The group was there in the continuing protest over the June 28 raid on the Rainbow Lounge.
