High school solar car competition happening at Texas Motor Speedway
16 high schools from 10 states across the nation, including W.T. White High School in Dallas, are competing in solar car competition at Texas Motor Speedway north of Fort Worth. The competition will last until Friday, with teams ironically having to deal with too much sun -- 100+ degree temperatures decrease the efficiency of solar cells.
