Students from Charles A. Gill Elementary School in Dallas to get free shopping spree at Academy Sports
DALLAS — Thirty students from Dallas ISD's Charles A. Gill Elementary School will get a special treat at 10 a.m., July 16, as they go on a free back-to-school shopping spree courtesy of Academy Sports + Outdoors.
The shopping event is part of the Academy Sports + Outdoors Adopt a Class Program and will take place at the Town East store in Mesquite, 3677 Emporium Cir.
Students will have a chance to shop for school uniforms, backpacks, footwear and other accessories.
Academy Sports + Outdoors is an outdoor, sports and lifestyle retail company based in Katy. The company maintains more than 100 stores in the southeastern United States, including 13 stores in Dallas-Fort Worth.
