This weekend’s Dallas-based Jack E. Jett shows feature wordmeister, porn star
As you might recall, Dallas-based radio host and raconteur about town Jack E. Jett recently underwent successful heart bypass surgery.
While he's coming back up to 100%, Jett is supercharging his two weekly radio programs by scheduling guest co-hosts perform the broadcast equivalent of riding shotgun. Recent co-hosts have included Rick Vanderslice, Robert Wilonsky, and Carlos Alazraqui (Deputy Garcia from Reno 911).
For this Saturday's (July 18) broadcast (on Rational Radio, 1360 AM), Jack's co-host will be Arnold Wayne Jones (Pegnews content partner) of Dallas Voice. Guests include Paul JJ Payack, president and Chief Word Analyst at the Global Language Monitor; Ms. Vicki, wife of Tiny Tim (and "involved with Fred Nuelander murder trial," per Jett); Tony Dow (that's right: "The Beav!"); and Rita McKenzie, a Broadway actress who is "the reincarnation of Ethel Merman." (Again, per Jett.)
On Sunday (July 19), Jett's co-host will be Paul J. WIlliams, a comedian with "multiple personalities and a witty tongue." Joining Jett and Williams during the program will be multiple AVN award-winner and Dallas native Evan Stone. Yep, that's AVN as in "Adult Video News," making Evan what is generally and oft-times fondly referred to as a porn star. No, I won't be linking to Evan's site, though feel free to navigate on over there if you're of legal age and adult-film friendly.
Also on tap for Sunday are Paul Scott, "hip hop minister pimp;" and Jim J. Bullock, who's been on all kinds of TV shows, from Hollywood Squares to Alf to Too Close for Comfort. Bullock is also, says Jack, one of the first sitcom actors to come out of the closet -- "in a big way."
