Fort Worth-based Reata Restaurant launches own line of bakeware
The old saying of "making lemonade from lemons" has translated into "making bakeware from silicone" for two very different businesses owned by Fort Worth's entrepreneurial Micallef family.
Weatherford-based Jamak Fabrication makes silicone windshield wiper blades, spark plug boots, and oven gaskets. Jamak has partnered with another Micallef business, Reata Restaurant, to create the restaurant’s first branded kitchen products.
The Reata at Home™ Bakeware is a high-quality, naturally non-sticking silicone bakeware line that features three core baking pieces: 9” round cake pan, standard loaf pan, and 6-cup muffin pan. The unique, patent pending designs feature an integrated stainless-steel frame that provides the strength and easy handling of traditional bakeware while offering the convenience and easy clean up of a flexible silicone product.
Reata At Home™ Bakeware can be purchased at both the Alpine and Fort Worth restaurants or online.
