Ross Perot, Jr. suing Mark Cuban for diverting arena funds to Mavericks
Mark Cuban is back in the hot-courtside-seat. According to Ross Perot, Jr., a former Mavericks owner himself and current business partner of Cuban's, the current owner has been diverting funds from the arena to cover the Mavericks' team debt. Perot is suing Cuban for not dividing that sum among the business partners.
Cuban responded to the lawsuit in classic Cuban fashion, with an email to Channel 11 (posted on Frontburner). Cuban counters that Perot was long aware that the money was going to the Mavs and that he even benefited from that. Cuban wrote that Perot "must be desperate from the losses he has suffered from Victory and his hedge funds." He finished the letter by saying, "the biggest mistake I made in buying the Mavs was in not completely buying out his interest."
