Dallas-based MasonBaronet receives certification from Women’s Business Enterprise National Council
DALLAS MasonBaronet, a full-service marketing firm based in Dallas, announced today that it has been certified as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) and accepted as a member of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
The distinction is reserved for companies with a minimum of 51% female ownership that complete a rigorous and stringent certification process to confirm the business is owned, managed, and controlled by a woman or women. The WBENC certification for women-owned businesses is one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation.
"After acquiring the firm more than three years ago, I knew this was the next step," says MasonBaronet President Holly Mason. "Not only is it empowering to join a distinguished group of other women-owned businesses, but I think it's an important distinction for our clients, vendors and others with whom we do business to know that MasonBaronet is 100 percent woman owned."
Women-owned businesses represent one of the fastest growing segments of the business environment, not just locally but nationally and internationally as well. The Women's Business Council offers certification, procurement, networking and educational programs that help WBE grow.
