United Way of Denton County rolls out video contest
DENTON This summer, United Way of Denton County is searching for authentic, moving stories of how people are living UNITED to help improve education, income, and health.
United Way of Denton County
If you are part of this change in the community, United Way of Denton County asks you to create and submit an original video that's no longer than 2 minutes. Explain how you work to make a difference in one or more of the areas of education, income, and health. You can create a video using a video phone, digital camera with video capabilities, video camera, or any other recording device. Original videos will be used as a reference to identify the best story and will not be included in advertising.
Upload a short video with your story to www.liveunited.tv. The public can then view and vote for which story they think United Way should feature in their national advertising campaign in 2010.
The contest ends September 30, 2009, which is the cutoff for both video entries and online voting. Finalists will be selected October 1 - 9, 2009. The final round of voting will be made October 12 - 16, 2009.
LIVE UNITED: It’s a credo. A mission. A goal. A constant reminder that when we as individuals think outside ourselves, we have the power to facilitate change. United Way of Denton County believes that it takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future and Living UNITED means being a part of the change.
