WFAA replaces Gary Cogill as Good Morning Texas co-host
His replacement is Robert McCollum, who was previously best known for his extensive voice-over work.
Content partner Ed Bark reported Sunday that WFAA has replaced Gary Cogill as the co-host of Good Morning Texas. His replacement is Robert McCollum, who was previously best known for his extensive voice-over work, including Dragon Ball Z. Cogill will remain with Channel 8 as the film critic and has been named as a "performing arts reporter."

I'm so disappointed that they replaced Gary. What were they thinking? He was the heart and soul of GMT, and he was the only reason why I watched it. I don't like the show at all anymore and I don't watch it anymore.

WFAA made a mistake replacing Gary Cogill on GMT. He is the reason most people watch that show. Watch the ratings go down, I promise!

I have met Gary in real life many times. Hell of a nice every-man and thats what makes him great on the air. Shame they couldnt see that.
