NTX Stars heading to D.C. soccer tournament for homeless youth, adults
The NTX Stars from Fort Worth is a soccer team comprised solely of homeless men. Started as part of Street Soccer USA, this team, and similar ones across the nation, use soccer to give homeless youth and adults confidence and a sense of commitment that could help them in other aspects of their lives.
With funds donated by the Grapevine Church of Christ, the NTX Stars will head to Washington, D.C. this weekend to participate in a three-day tournament featuring like teams from 16 cities.
