Fort Worth’s Burnett Plaza gets tree-removal facelift
The million dollar renovation of the downtown park is intended to make it more child-friendly.
When construction began on the planned $1 million renovation to Fort Worth's downtown Burnett Plaza this week, one of the first tasks accomplished was the cutting down of trees.
In an effort to make the park more child-friendly, fountains and planter boxes are also to be removed. The Burnett Foundation is paying for construction costs.
