Heath City Council to meet in budgetary work session
At Tuesday night's (June 2) work session meeting of the Heath City Council (to be held at City Hall), the oath of office will be administered to newly-elected council members, and then there will be budgetary discussions relating to fiscal year 2009-2010.
First up will be consideration of a request for the waiver of fees for the use of Towne Center Park Field, which the Girl Scouts would like to use for their planned softball clinic. Apparently, they would prefer not to pay for it. (And who can blame them?)
Other agenda items include:
* discussion of funding for the Meals on Wheels Program
* appointment to the Board of Adjustment
* update regarding options for future TX DOT improvements to FM 740, and to its intersection with FM 549 and FM 550
* election of a Mayor Pro Tem
