North Richland Hills People & Pet Walk-A-Thon scheduled June 13
The North Richland Hills Animal Adoption & Rescue Center invites dogs and their owners to join in its annual Walk-A-Thon at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 13. The two-mile walk will begin and end at the Animal Adoption & Rescue Center, located at 7200 B Dick Fisher Dr. S. Dogs should be on a leash and wearing their current rabies tag and city license tag.
All funds raised from this event benefit the NRH Animal Adoption & Rescue Center Shelter Fund. Registration for the Walk-A-Thon is a minimum $18 donation and can be paid in advance at the NRH Animal Adoption & Rescue Center. Registration will also be accepted at the Center from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. the day of the event. The Center encourages participants to ask their friends, neighbors and coworkers to help the raise funds for the walk.
In addition to the walk, there will also be a doggie mall offering pet products, information and services. For more information, please call the NRH Animal Adoption & Rescue Center at 817-427-6570.
