Duncanville ISD names interim athletic director
Duncanville ISD has announced that Duncanville High School Pantherette Head Basketball Coach Cathy Self-Morgan will serve as athletic director while the search for a permanent replacement continues.
Kevin Ozee recently resigned to take the athletic director position at Carroll ISD. Ozee was the unanimous choice from a field of four applicants. Self-Morgan will continue her successful stint at the helm of the Pantherettes.
Self-Morgan has been with DISD for nine years, earning a state championship in 2003. She has served as Assistant Athletic Director since 2004. Self-Morgan called her move from the Austin area to Duncanville the “best professional move of her career.”
Head Athletic Trainer Ray Seago will serve as interim assistant athletic director.
