Pocket Sandwich Theatre to present Takin’ a Break from Sex

Andy and Joleen Mullins have taken marriage, friendship, mid life crisis, and the absurdities of relationships, stirred in a little silliness, and have created some original comedic sketches.

The Pocket Sandwich Theatre presents a new show in their Specials Series, as the local comedy duo Andy and Joleen Mullins present Takin’ A Break From Sex on Tuesday, June 16, at 7:30 P.M.

The two creators/performers of the show, Andy and Joleen Mullins, have taken marriage, friendship, mid life crisis, and the absurdities of relationships, stirred in a little silliness, and have created some original comedic sketches that range from clever to brazenly funny. This married comedy couple invites you to sit back and enjoy their fun romp through scenes emphasizing that opposite sex perceptions are a myriad of crazy conversations and hilarious situations.

Both are experienced actors and comics. Both are well known in the Dallas/Fort Worth theatre community for their work in stage, film, television, and commercials. Joleen lived (and performed) in Los Angeles for 14 years before returning to Dallas. The two met while performing together in a comedy dinner theatre group. The sparks flew, and they married, thus gaining access to a wealth of new comedy sketch material.

The Pocket Sandwich Theatre will open for the show at 6:15 on Tuesday, June 16, and the performance will begin at 7:30. Tickets (show only) are $12.00. Optional food and beverage service is available. Reservations are strongly recommended. Rated “R” (adult situations, some language.)

Takin a Break From Sex, my Review. We loved this show! My boyfriend, and several of our friends saw this show in August at a theater in Deep Ellum. We all found that we could relate to alot of the hilarious sketches. The show couple came out and talked to all the audience members after the show too.
