Women in Film-Dallas present "Marketing Power: Standing Out Above the Rest"
- When: Thursday, June 11, 2009, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Where: KD Studio Theatre, 2600 North Stemmons Freeway, Dallas
- Cost: Free - $15
- Age limit: Not available
Women In Film-Dallas (WIF.D) will hold a special media marketing seminar at KD Studios on Thursday, June 11 at 7 p.m.
Entitled "Marketing Power: Standing Out Above the Rest," the event is free to WIF.D members and $15 to others.
Attendees will hear from media experts Jeff Crilley and Kelly McDonald on the subject of how they can get free publicity for their film, book or event. (Bottom line: why pay for advertising when you can convince the news media to give it to you for free?)
Arrive at 6:30 p.m. for networking, drinks and appetizers. Also up for grabs (in the sense that they're being raffled away) are prizes including a wine tasting for ten at Calais Winery; a book bundle from O'Reilly Media; a $185 gift certificate for a deluxe hydrating facial (and more) from Renee Rouleau Skin Care; and a pair of tickets to the Four Funny Females show at the Eisemann on June 20, in the company of WIF.D member Linda Stogner.
