Dallas woman allegedly set fire to apartment complex so she could collect Red Cross aid
Lashay Denise Kelly, 22, figured she'd scam the Red Cross for aid money, according to investigators, and so she conspired with an accomplice to set fire to the Dallas apartment complex where she lives (make that "lived"), at 2900 Dilido Rd.
First, though, she removed her clothes and kids to a safe place. And warned a neighbor.
Leaving the other apartment residents (and their kids) to fend for themselves, as flames and smoke spread through the building.

In reading the original article, published by Dallas Morning News, one would think that she wanted to be caught.
