Video: Your Scheduled Minutes with The Royal Town Crier — Episode 3: “History Lesson with Rothwicker”
Dallas' self-proclaimed town crier, Hansel von Quenzer, gives us a short lesson on the long history of the town criers. Later, he uses his bell, scroll and thunderous voice to announce at a baby shower being held at Buli Cafe. Special guest announcer: Ed Blaylock of WRR 101.1.

What I wouldn’t give for a good excuse (not the Renaissance Fair) to wear one of those kick-ass dresses from back in the day. Maybe Halloween this year...
