State law would allow DART to charge for parking
A new state law was recently enacted that would allow DART to charge residents of non-member cities to park in their lots. DART has not acted on that law yet, but it has until December 2010 to do so. This is mostly in response to parking lots at the Parker Road and Bush Turnpike stations filling up, although both stations are having new lots built as we speak.
Again I say, how exactly would DART implement this "plan?" Are they planning on having DART cops check IDs at the entrances? Dogs to detect that North Collin County stench?
