Call it a "thank you" to the city whose officials voted to fund a considerable percentage of the cost of building his new super-stadium.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced he'd be donating a suite at the new home of the 'Pokes to the Arlington City Council.
At least one Arlington council member is already worried about public perception surrounding how the game tickets will be distributed. You'd think tickets to a Cowboys home game were some kind of big deal, or something.
Which might be borne out by the fact that it'll cost you $15 just to take a TOUR (starting June 26) of the damn stadium - with nothing at all actually going ON there, for cripes' sake...

Several news sources show that the suites -- there are a total of 300, and not too many are left -- run $100,000 to $500,000 a year. Whew.

So, based on my property tax assessment, I should at least get to stand in a corner of the suite for one game per season, right??

Isn't false advertising to call them the Dallas Cowboys since they haven't been in Dallas for over 30 years. Couldn't this be a deciptive trade issue. My vote goes to renaming them the "Arlington Cowboys".
